On the 27 August 2014 City Police responded to the Canadian Tire store on Great Northern Rd. It is alleged that a male tried to steal items from the business. He was observed by store security who called the police.
The man took off running and after a short foot pursuit was arrested by the police. He was found to be on three separate probation orders.
The man was also wanted from another theft incident on the 13 August 2014. Jody Edwards is charged with 2 counts of theft under $5,000.00 and breach of probation x 7. He will be appearing in bail court on the 28 August 2014 at 10:00 AM.
