The Stanley Cup is coming back to Garden River. Garden River First Nation Office announced details today to celebrate and honour one of its own, Jordan Nolan.
Nolan plays of course for the NHL’s Los Angeles Kings – Stanley Cup champions and Nolan is bringing the cup back to his hometown, Friday August 8.
Nolan and the cup will be at the Garden River PowWow grounds located on Point Charles Road from 12 noon to 1:30pm
Nolan and his family will travel via a Garden River Fire Truck along Highway17b to the PowWow grounds, the general public is invited to attend.
Jordan last brought the cup to town in 2012.
