On August 5, 2014 at approximately 9:00 a.m. police conducted a traffic stop on Wallace Terr. The driver of the vehicle was found to be prohibited driver for an impaired driving conviction.
38 year old Jason McCoy of 530 Douglas St. was subsequently charged. He will be appearing in court on September 8 2014.
Oh, the irony of it all
On August 5 2014 the city police were called to Wal-mart on Great Northern Rd for a theft complaint. Investigation revealed that two persons were observed by store security taking a home surveillance system from the electronic department and then leaving the store without paying.
Charged with theft under $5000 is a 20 year old male Jody Burns of 519 Boundary Rd and a 21 year old female Taylor Dow of 33 Ferguson Av. Dow was also on probation at the time and was charged with the breach as well. Both accused persons will be appearing in court on September 8 2014.
