City Police arrested the accused Shaun David Mearow without incident on August 4, 2014 at an address on Albert St. West.
He will be appearing in WASH court this morning. The city police would like to thank the public’s assistance with this matter.

It is alleged that between the 27th and 29th of July the accused held an adult female known to him against her will at a centrally located address in Sault Ste. Marie.
During the two to three days the accused held the victim in the residence he allegedly assaulted the victim by punching her and hitting her with a frying pan, a hammer and a knife.
The victim was able to escape and called 911.
She was taken to the SAH for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
Officers from Investigation Services and Patrol Services were notified and have been working on this incident.
Investigators are anticipating further charges.
Mr. Mearow is believed to be in the possession of the victim’s 98 GMC Sierra truck.
The truck is blue in colour with Ontario Licence plate AH81191.
The vehicle also has tinted windows, mud tires, chrome running boards and after-market taillights.
Mr. Mearow is considered dangerous and may be armed.
