Those Heritage teas must be popular. Nancy Sanders from the Parks Canada Sault Ste. Marie Canal National Historic Site tells SaultOnline that the Heritage Teas are sold out for the season!

The Heritage teas take place at the historic Superintendent’s Residence. With live music, costumed interpreters, fancy sandwiches, tea and desserts each Sunday at 2pm. Tickets have to be purchased in advance.

While the Heritage Teas have sold out, the Sault Canal offers numerous opportunities according to Saunders to enjoy at the historic site: the Club Parka and Xplorers programs for kids; popular guided tours; watching a boat lock through the recreational lock; walking an urban trail system; checking out the Visitor Centre in its new home in the iconic Powerhouse; browsing the new Parks Canada merchandise and enjoying a tasty treat in the gift shop.
