On August 2nd, 2014 shortly after midnight City Police and the City Fire Department attended a series of suspicious fires on Wellington Street East.
The first fire occurred on Wellington Street East near Simpson Street. At this location a vehicle was severely damaged by fire.
The second fire occurred on Wellington Street East just west of Pine Street. At this location a vehicle received minor damage by fire.
The third fire occurred on Wellington Street East near Elizabeth Street. At this location a garage was destroyed by fire and the house received moderate damage.
The Sault Ste. Marie Police Service’s Investigation Services is currently investigating these fires.
If these suspicious fires take place “On August 2nd, 2014 shortly after midnight”, why don’t the police just go there at that time and arrest the Arsonists?
