It’s time to crank up the heat, and turn on the A/C because your real summertime weather is coming this week. In fact by the end of the week we could be above the 30c mark with a little added humidity according to the latest forecast.
Take it all in though because it won’t stick around for long – possibly only 3 or 4 days before things start to cool off and become wet again. Right after the “heatwave” comes a slow moving system that will leave “bountiful” amounts of rain for the Great Lakes.
From the period of August 19 through to the end of the month calls for storm system after storm system with possible heavy thunderstorms and then things turn downright chilly to end the summer season.
It doesn’t get much better for September that will start out chilly and end with an early freeze or frost to end out September.
Forecast highs for this week will see Thursday through Sunday with some of the highest temperatures this year, coupled with humidity it will feel like the low to mid 30’s
Congrats, Kelsy!
