On the 20th of September 2014 at approximately 10:30 pm officers from Patrol Services attended the 300 block of Albert Street West with regards to an assault complaint.
The investigation revealed that the accused assaulted the victim by punching the victim in the face and kicking the victim in the ribs. Further, during the course of the assault the victim received a laceration to the neck area. The injury was non-life threatening in nature. In addition, while officers were investigating the assault complaint the accused obstructed Patrol Officers during the course of their duties.
This incident is still under investigation by Investigation Services. Charged is Thomas James ARCHIBALD 23yrs with Assault Causing Bodily Harm and Obstruct Police. He will appear in Bail Court on the 22nd of September 2014
