On Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at approximately 6 a.m., members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Superior East Wawa Detachment responded to a motor vehicle collision on Highway 17 Bailloquet Township.
The collision involved a single northbound tractor trailer. The lone occupant did not sustain any injuries.
As a result of police investigation Gary DE VOS (56) of Trenton, Ontario was charged with Careless Driving contrary to section 130 of the Highway Traffic Act of Ontario.
Highway 17 is open to alternating traffic.
