Stolen Vehicle

Yesterday morning a homeowner on Madeleine Street reported a break and enter to their garage. It is unknown at this time what was taken.

Sometime between September 12 and September 16th a residence on Brown Street was entered. Sunglasses and a watch were taken.

Between September 12th and September 16th a residence on Huron Street was entered. Numerous tools were taken.

Yesterday City Police received 11 reports of thefts from vehicles. Vehicles were entered on Sheppard Street, Parkdale Drive, Cunningham Road, Caddy Avenue, Palace Drive, Albert Street West, Weldon Avenue, Placid Avenue, Balfour Street and Northern Avenue. Items taken in these thefts include a GPS, a Mac book, three wallets and contents, money, and an IPhone 4.

The Sault Ste. Marie Police Service would like to again remind the public not to leave items of value in vehicles. If your wallet and contents are stolen, you could become a victim of identity theft.
