The City’s Community Services Department (Recreation and Culture Division) is in the process of collecting information to support an application for the Playworks Youth Friendly Community Designation.
Play Works is a movement of interested parties committed to helping youth by encouraging and promoting a greater investment in youth play in Ontario. (www.playworkspartnership.ca/youth-friendly-communities).
As the lead applicant, the City recognizes that youth are vital and an important resource in our community. We need the comments and opinions of youth ages 13-19 to gather feedback.
Sault Ste. Marie youth in this age group are encouraged to complete the online survey at www.cityssm.on.ca – City Hall Surveys – Youth Voice Survey.
Your feedback will assist to develop a comprehensive inventory of youth-focused initiatives, opportunities and future needs that can lead to positive change.
