In the last 24 hours City Police received 15 reports of thefts of vehicles. Vehicles were entered on River Road, Tamarack Avenue, Queen Street East, Dacey Road, Parkinworth Place, Champagne Drive, Muriel Drive, Royal York Boulevard and Wiber Street.
Items taken include cartons of cigarettes, an IPod, jewellery, IPod chargers, Oakley sunglasses and change. The Sault Ste. Marie Police Service would again like to remind the public not to leave items of value in their vehicles.
