On the 2 September 2014 officers from Patrol Services arrested a male in the west end of the city and charged him with multiple offences relating to domestic related incidents. These incidents included threatening bodily harm as well as multiple probation breaches involving the victim. The accused will appear in bail court on the 3 September 2014.
On the 2 September 2014 officers from Patrol Services arrested a male in the downtown area and charged him with a number of offences related to domestic related incidents. This was as a result of investigation conducted by officers from Patrol Services and Criminal Investigations Branch. The charges included Threatening Bodily Harm as well as Breaches of Probation and Drug Offences. He will appear in bail court on the 3 September 2014.

On the 2 September 2014 two Break and Enters were reported to the Sault Ste. Marie Police and investigated by Patrol Services. The first B&E occurred in the 100 block of Wilding Avenue. An apartment was ransacked, two males were seen leaving the area unknown description. The second B&E occurred in the 100 block of McFadden Avenue. U. S., Canadian and Japanese currency was taken, a Roots hat and a ring. Unknown suspects.
On the 2 September 2014 Patrol Services investigated a Domestic complaint of Harassing phone calls, and text messages in the downtown area. Incident still under investigation.
