On the 22 August 2014 a man attended one of the local Pawn Brokers. He passed off a chainsaw as his own and received cash from the exchange. It was discovered that the power tool was not his and in fact was stolen from a recent garage break in. Charged with possession of stolen property is Michael Johnston (age 47). He will be appearing in court on the 20 October 2014 at 9:00 AM.
Shoplifting
On September 11, 2014 at 4:10 pm Patrol Officers arrested and charged Jody Burns, age 20 of 519 Boundary Rd. with Theft under $5,000.00. It is alleged he was shoplifting from Walmart in the Station Mall. He will appear in court on October 20th.
