On Monday September 22nd the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service appealed to the public to report any sighting of 55 year old Richard Stone of Sault Ste. Marie.
Family members of Mr. Stone have not seen or heard from him and they are concerned for him. He was last seen in the area of the Wellington Square Mall on the 17th of September.
Officers from Investigation Services are continuing to gather information and work on locating Richard Stone.
Richard Stone is Caucasian, is between 5 foot 2 inches and 5 foot 7 inches tall and weighs approximately 210 pound. He has a medium complexion, blue eyes and a grey moustache. He is bald and is also missing all of his teeth.
He was last seen wearing dark running shoes, blue jeans and a grey hooded sweatshirt.
Richard Stone has gone short periods of time without contacting his family in the past. However, the length of time without contact in this case is unusual.
