The City Wants Your Input On This

0

In accordance with the Accessibility Standard Regulations, every conventional transportation service provider shall hold annually at least one public meeting involving persons with disabilities. This ensures an opportunity for individuals to participate in the review, and provide feedback on the accessibility plan. The Corporation of the City of Sault Ste. Marie is holding a public consultation session to determine priorities for barrier removal and accessible transit items for people with disabilities. Information gathered will be used to enhance the updated multi-year Accessibility Plan.

A public input session to receive community feedback will be held on:

Monday, September 15, 2014 – 2 to 5 p.m.
Russ Ramsay Board Room, Level 3, Civic Centre, 99 Foster Drive
Presentation begins at 2 p.m.

Individuals unable to attend the session can forward comments regarding barrier removal to Nancie Scott, City of Sault Ste. Marie Accessibility Coordinator, by phone at 705-541-7310 or by email to [email protected].

Individuals unable to attend the session may forward comments regarding accessible transit issues to Don Scott, Manager of Transit and Parking, by phone at 705-759-5438 ext. 2227 or by email to [email protected].
