We are sad to announce the passing of Betty Joan Wilson with her family by her side, Thursday September 11, 2014 at Extendicare Maple View at the age of 80.
Beloved wife of Robert Wilson for 61 years. Loving mother of Roxanne (Wayne) Ayotte, Trina, Maxine (Ron) LaLonde, the late Rhonda and Alberta (late Darrell) Benjamin. Cherished grandma of Jason (Lisa), Brad (Robin), Shane (Stefania), Jeremy, Ashley, Paul (Betty) Willet, Lianne Gagne, Aaron and Kyle Hutchinson. Predeceased by her parents Arnold and Claire “Dot” Zufelt. Sister of Bill (Gayle) and Jack (Hilka) Zufelt. Sister-in-law of Arlene (Jim) Matear and Beverly (Lynn) McCoy. Betty will be sadly missed by her many great grand children, nieces, nephews and friends.
We would like to warmly thank the staff at Extendicare Maple View, especially the Tunnel Lake nurses and PSW’s for the loving care and support given to Betty during her residence there.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Congregation of the Jehovah Witnesses or the Alzheimer’s Society would be greatly appreciated by the family.
