Mayoral candidate Christian Provenzano encourages all members of the community who are eligible to get out and vote on Monday October 27th, 2014.

“I encourage all voters to consider each of the campaigns, their platforms, their efforts, their values and their ideas and to get out and cast your vote. This is an important election for our community and every voter should have their say,” Provenzano stated.

Provenzano’s campaign put out a platform accompanied by specific policy pieces that focused on leadership, accountability, and responsible spending. Provenzano knocked on doors throughout the campaign in all areas of the City, speaking with residents about their thoughts, ideas, and hopes for Sault Ste. Marie.

Provenzano remarked that he has received a positive response from the community, “It’s been a very encouraging campaign. People are concerned about the challenges that our community faces but they are hopeful that with the right leadership we can meet those challenges head on. I agree.”

“Our campaign has focused from the outset on Leadership, Accountability and Responsible Spending. Those themes have resonated with the community and I really appreciate all of the people who have reached out to the campaign with expressions of support, taken a lawn sign, or shown up to volunteer. Your engagement has meant a lot to our campaign and to me personally,” added Provenzano.

The Sault Ste. Marie municipal election will take place on Monday, October 27, 2014.

Provenzano concludes, “I believe in Sault Ste. Marie and I am optimistic about its future but I need your support, your ideas, your volunteerism, and your vote so that together we can make Sault Ste. Marie a stronger, healthier community. Let’s make sure we get out and vote.”
