Highway 17 north of Wawa was closed for a period of time this morning.
A very heavy frost blanketed Wawa and area this morning. Just before 7am this pickup towing a cargo trailer jackknifed due to frost on the highway just north of Wawa. About 100 feet past the Old Magpie Mine Road/Tea Lake Road this northbound vehicle lost traction on the frosty highway, touched the northbound shoulder, and then spun around, jackknifing, tipping the trailer over, and the truck came to rest against the guard rails.
