Ontario Works is seeking candidates to participate in the second phase of Destination North’s Superior Skills Training Program.
Superior Skills is a unique partnership between Ontario Works, the Algoma District School Board and Destination North. Superior Skills provides intensive 8 week training opportunities focusing on in demand skills training, while promoting individual responsibility. Superior Skills is based out of the Etienne Brule school building.
Ontario Works is currently seeking 10 recipients to participate in the second phase of the Superior Skills training program, with the goal of creating up to 6 jobs. The second phase of the training program, FlutterGo, partners with Entomica and will train individuals how to successfully raise and rear insects for commercial sale.
