City Police officers were called to the Wal-Mart on Bay St. early last evening regarding 3 females detained by store security for theft.
It is alleged that 43 year old Shannon Edwards of 52 Henrietta St. left the store without paying for a bed sheet set valued at just under $200. In the second incident, it is alleged 28 year old Amanda Shawana of 305 Huron St. walked throughout the store placing various items valued over $100 into a bag and then leaving the store without paying for these items.
The third incident involved 31 year old Julie Kelly of 314 Albert St. E. stealing over $900 worth of merchandise before being apprehended by store security. All three thefts occurred within an hour of each other and were all unrelated. All 3 accused will be appearing in Provincial Court on November 17th.
