Aeromobil is a ‘flying car that can be used as a traditional vehicle and morph into a small plane.
Imagine being able to fly over Great Northern Road during rush hour, or flying to Sudbury for some shopping and lunch? The Aerobil is on its third prototype (see video) The car is constructed to be fuelled at regular gas stations using the fuel for Rotax 912 ULS engine and can park in a standard size parking spot for regular automobiles. The Slovakian firm behind the Aeromobil, combined the performance of a sports car with qualities of an ‘ultralight’, No price tag was mentioned however.
The wings fold into the car when used on a highway and expand out as you go to air.
