Deadline Approaching for City Council Boards and Committees

The Sault Ste. Marie City Council is accepting applications from individuals interested in serving on the following boards and committees. Appointments are for two or four years depending upon the board or committee.

Fence Viewers Committee (4)

Library Board (9)
Municipal Heritage Committee (5)
Ontarians with Disabilities Accessibility Advisory Committee (14)
Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee (8)
Planning Advisory Committee (7)
Residential Standards Committee (3)
Walk of Fame Selection Committee (2)
Boards and Committees to which Council Appoints Members (but which are not Boards or Committees of Council)

Council may change the composition of the following boards of the PUC and may consider citizen appointments to take effect in April 2015:
PUC Inc.
PUC Services Inc.
Public Utilities Commission (water)

Applications from individuals may be considered by City Council for appointment to positions on any boards and committees for which City Council makes appointments.
Individuals are asked to submit an application form available on the City website: www.cityssm.on.ca – City Hall Bulletins or from the City Clerk’s office – cityclerk@cityssm.on.ca or 705-759-5388.
