The Korah Colts Junior Football team played host to the St. Mary’s Knights at Superior Heights for the City Junior Finals.
Korah took command of the game right from the beginning and after the first quarter led the Knights 13 – 0.
Still keeping control of the field Korah kept St. Mary’s off the scoreboard for the second quarter while scoring a single touchdown and a convert.
At the end of the third quarter neither team added to their score since half-time.
Starting off the fourth quarter an attempt by Korah for a field goal just missed with the ball hitting the left upright.
The Colts added to their lead on a pass interception and then a convert to lead the Knights 27 – 0. With St. Mary’s deep
in their zone the Knights opted for a safety to bring the line of scrimmage back towards center field to get an opportunity
to get on the scoreboard. With just over a minute left in the game the Korah offense decided to run down the clock
and after the fourth down St. Mary’s had one more play before the end of the game.
The final score was Korah Colts – 29 St. Mary’s Knights – 0.
