On November 18, 2014 City Police responded to a dated domestic assault incident that is alleged to have taken place between October 1, 2014 and October 15, 2014.
The accused age 30 allegedly assaulted the victim by grabbing her by the throat and pinning her against the wall after a verbal argument had taken place. City police arrested the accused on November 18, 2014 but during the arrest the accused pulled away from the officer and grabbed a kitchen knife.
The accused was eventually subdued. The accused will appear in bail court on November 19, 2014 at 10:00 am.
