New Management Team at Searchmont

With great early season conditions on the horizon, Searchmont Resort has recruited top talent to position the largest mountains in the Midwest as the go to destination for the skiing, snowboarding and back-country adventurer.

Paul Suda, former coordinator of Humber College’s Ski Area Management program and Professor in Humber’s School of Hospitality, Recreation and Tourism program, will lead the Resort team as General Manager.

Keeping the mountain moving is Sault Ste. Marie native Chris Greensted who returns to the Resort team as Outside Operations Manager.

Chris Candow, professional ski instructor and coach fresh from Whistler Blackcomb Snow School, Big White and Vail, is the newly minted Director of the Searchmont Snow School bringing world-class experience to the team as a veteran Level 3 CSIA instructor, Level 2 CSCF coach and CSIA course tester.

Harvey Barsanti Jr. restaurateur and operator of Barsanti’s Restaurant at Root River Golf Club has been recruited to develop food and beverage as an integral part of the mountain experience.
