The Sault’s newest restaurant officially opened to the public Sunday. Chicago Cookshop at 342 McNabb Street brings a little bit of the windy city to the north.
Chicago Cookshop operated by Aaron Gridzak and John Perri will feature “amazing tenderloin steak” as well as salads, ribs, homemade pasta , chicken and fish. The restaurant theme is all Chicago including the decor playing on the history of Chicago.
Chicago Cookshop will also offer limo service to and from the restaurant for those special dates. The new eatery and bar will seat about 250 with the outdoor patio expected to open in the Spring and renovations are underway for the downstairs banquet facility .
Chicago Cookshop employs a mix of about 40 fulltime and part time workers brings new life to the building that has housed three other restaurants at this location over the years. Originally the building was the home of the Moose Lodge.
Trying to make reservations for a party of 6 but cannot find a phone number
When I first moved to the Sault, years ago, the original building was actually the Anglican church where I attended.
It’s actually called Chicago CookSHOP. You may want to correct that, thanks.
Oops sorry about that, I made the correction
