To accommodate people looking to purchase tickets for Musical Comedy Guild’s production of Jesus Christ Superstar opening this Wednesday, the Community Theatre Box Office in the Station Mall will be open today from 10:45 am – 5:15 pm. Tickets can be purchased at anytime by visiting www.kctc.ca.
Jesus Christ Superstar hits the stage November 26-30, 2014 at the Community Theatre Centre with an 8 pm curtain time Wednesday – Saturday and 2 pm on Sunday. The Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber classic rock opera features Noah Morden (Judas), Biranna Niro (Mary), Rev. Hamish Currie (Pontius Pilate), Anthony Aceti (King Herod), Bill Webb (Caiaphas), Kevin Collar (Annas), Byron Jaaskelainen (Simon Zealotes), Leo Moore (Peter) a wonderful ensemble of actors and special guest artist and tenor from Brazil, Lucas Hernandes as Jesus. Lucas played the role of Marius in Musical Comedy Guild’s production of Les Miserables that over 5200 people saw last year!
The Jesus Christ Superstar production team includes Joseph Lauzon (Director), Thomas Brandstetter (Producer), Paul Dingle (Music Director), Agnes McCarthy (Vocal Director), Sandra Forsell (Assistant Director) and Tania Castellani-Greco (Choreographer). This rock classic musical will also feature dancers from Studio Dance Arts.
Next fall Musical Comedy Guild will stage Mary Poppins and tickets for this Disney classic will go on sale to Jesus Christ Superstar ticket-holders at a discounted rate starting December 2, 2014 just in time to make the perfect stocking stuffer! Tickets will then go on sale to the general public January 6, 2015.
