There has been so many calls the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service has had to issue a release concerning strange lights in the night sky over the city.
City Police say to stay calm.
The Sault Ste. Marie Police Service has received several calls from concerned citizens who have viewed spotlights in the sky over the city tonight. These lights originate at the OLG Casino in the downtown area and are part of a promotional event.
The Police Service is asking citizens to refrain from tying up 911 emergency lines or from calling police to report the unusual lights.
