On November 19, 2014 City Police attended the Walmart at 293 Bay Street regarding a shoplifting incident. Police received information that a female allegedly went to different departments in the store selecting various merchandise.

The accused was observed placing makeup in her purse, then placed food items and toys in the bottom of the stroller she was pushing. The accused covered the items with her jacket. The accused then paid for some items that she had and left the store without paying for the concealed items in her purse and under the stroller.

The accused Lily Bouchard, age 30 of 328 Pim Street was arrested for theft under $5000.00. The accused will appear in court on December 22, 2014 at 9:00 am.

On November 19, 2014 City Police responded to a domestic matter in the west end of the city. Upon arrival police could hear a female screaming for help.

It is alleged that the male accused and the female had been involved in a verbal argument that started to escalate. Police could not determine that an assault had taken place but the accused was on probation and a recognizance with court ordered conditions not to communicate with the victim, not to molest, harass or physically interfere with the victim and to keep the peace and be of good behavior.

Police arrested the accused, age 30 for breach of probation X 3 and breach of a recognizance.

The accused will appear in bail court on November 20, 2014 at 10:00 am.
