On November 8, 2014 patrol officers attended at a residence in the city’s west end. Investigation revealed an allegation that the female slapped and scratched the male victim. As a result the female was arrested and charged with assault. She will appear in court on December 10.
On November 8 2014 patrol officers received information that accused, Derek Bob was at a business on Great Northern Rd and that he was wanted on an outstanding warrant of failing to appear court. The accused was arrested on the warrant. He is now scheduled to appear back in court on December 15 2014 for failing to appear court on a breach of recognizance charge.
City Police officers attended to the parking lot of the Pine Plaza early Sunday morning with regards to a possible impaired driver. Upon their arrival they located a male having difficulty with care and control of a motor vehicle. Further investigation led the officers to believe this male was over the legal limit. 60 year old Terrence Matthews of 696 Pine St. was charged with consuming over the legal limit and will be appearing in Provincial Court on December 15th.
