An early morning fire has caused extensive damage to a Hudson Street garage and surrounding buildings. Sault Fire Services were called around 2:30am Saturday for a fire at 388 Albert Street W. A vehicle parked at the rear of the house and fronting on Hudson street was also completely destroyed.
Police are calling the fire “suspicious” It took Fire Services just over 30 minutes to control the blaze.
A Police forensic unit arrived to investigate the cause. No one was hurt in the fire.
