Fog Gives Way To Cooler Weather

Dense fog continues to blanket the region Monday as above normal temperatures slowly melts the snow cover.
Though it won’t last much longer. Temperatures are expected to drop gradually starting Tuesday afternoon as a small clipper system makes its way through the Great Lakes bringing with it some additional snow.

Normal temperatures for this date are about -4c. Today the Sault’s warming trend bottomed out at plus 2.The highest temperature recorded on this date was in 1998 with plus 6.6c while the coldest was a bone chilling -23c in 1968.

Cooler temperatures will move in Wednesday before a slight rebound for the weekend.
