OPP advise that a portion of Highway 17 north has been closed due to poor driving conditions. The highway has been closed in both directions from Batchawana north to Wawa.
Persistent snow squalls are producing poor visibility. The OPP do not know how long the highway will be closed, there are no detours. It is advised to change any travel plans north of the Sault until the snow squalls diminish
