When I heard about the Women’s Market held this past Saturday at the Verdi Hall, there was no second thought. I had to go check it out! For SaultOnline of course…
The parking lot was packed as women of all ages converged to shop, eat and get pampered while supporting local women entrepreneurs with a portion of the proceeds supporting the Phoenix Rising Women’s Centre. There was everything from your favourite home-party products like Pampered Chef, Silpada, Partylite, Arbonne, Scentsy, Epicure and more. Amazing local women retailers displayed an outstanding selection of foods, gifts, fashions, housewares, jewellery, beauty products, services and one-of-a-kind cool stuff for all your personal and holiday shopping needs!
Just when I thought I’d taken it all in… I was informed that there was a second floor bustling with even more cool stuff! There were stations set up to get your hair, makeup and nails done for free… not to mention more than a few sweet treats to sample.
Kudos to all the women entrepreneurs who obviously worked very hard to make this event such a success! Here’s a few photos for those who weren’t able to make it this year.
