Want to learn how to do business with government by taking advantage of Ontario’s public procurement? Business owners, current and aspiring entrepreneurs, and professionals are invited to join the Sault Ste. Marie Economic Development Corporation at Bridges to Better Business 2014.
This year’s event, taking place Thursday, Dec. 4 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Northern Grand Gardens, will feature networking opportunities, along with a presentation from Kevin Fox, of the Ontario Ministry of Government Services, titled: Doing Business with Government. An entrepreneurial panel discussion, led by Startup Sault Ste. Marie, will follow.
A complementary dinner will be served at the forum. There is no fee to go to the event, but organizers are asking that all attendees bring at least two non-perishable food items for donation to the Sault Ste. Marie Soup Kitchen.
With limited seating available, the deadline to RSVP is Tuesday, Dec. 2. To register, please visit www.sault-canada.com/en/yourbusiness/bridgestobetterbusiness.asp.
“Bridges to Better Business provides a wonderful opportunity for current and aspiring entrepreneurs to learn, network and share ideas,” said Andrew Ross, General Manager of Enterprise Services for the Sault Ste. Marie Economic Development Corporation. “With limited space, I encourage people to register as soon as possible and take advantage of this forum.”
