Power Failure

A planned power outage will affect residents of Algoma Power from the 5th line area north of the city limits today.

Hwy 17N – from the Mile Hill to the Sault Ste Marie city limits, and the Heyden area, as well as all associated side roads including: Rupert Acres; Beaumont, Fisher and Shetland Parks; Peace Tree Drive, Olson Drive, Trout Lake Road, Maki Lake Road, Birch Grove Road, Edgar Lane, Hiltz Road, Marina Road, Point Road, Caples Road, Heyden Lake Road, Lakeview Drive, and a portion of Hwy 556 to south of the Island Lake area (Pole replacement)

Power is expected to be restored to affected homes by Noon Hour.
