Tonight Hounds 2012 sixth round pick Jaren Bellini earned first star in a 10-2 victory over the Blind River Beavers with his first career four point game, scoring two goals and two assists. The T-Birds also went back on the winning track following a 4-3 overtime loss to the Sudbury Nickel Barons back on December 13th but still extended their unbeaten streak to three games.
Matt: Describe how your game went tonight?
Jaren: It went well, it was a solid team effort and a bounce back game from last weekend.
Matt: How are you guys preparing for Friday’s game?
Jaren: We love to stick to the same plan, keep things simple and have a good week of practice.
Matt: How did it feel getting your first career four point game?
Jaren: It was nice in a personal note, but it’s the team effort that counts.
