Another dumping of snow courtesy lake effect snow and snow squalls today and tonight in Sault Ste. Marie and surrounding area adding greatly to the snowfall totals.

Environment Canada has issued another snow squall warning Friday morning. 15 to 20cm of snow is possible in the snow squall bands. Snow squalls will likely cause poor visibility and dangerous driving conditions.

The snow squalls will be off and on for most of the day lasting through to Saturday morning. Highway closures north of the city is possible.
