See those arches of clouds on this satellite image? that’s our next weather maker. It’s known as an Alberta Clipper. Normally these systems will race in dump about 10cm of snow and quickly move out.
It will do that tonight and leave up to 12cm of new snow by tomorrow in the Sault. A lot more to the north of us who are now in a heavy snowfall warning. No such watch or warning for the Sault, the bulk of the snow is expected to fall between White River and Wawa.
North of the Sault in the White River area and possibly Wawa as well could see up to 20cm tonight.
Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow. Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow.
