Peacefully with grace and dignity passed away December 28, 2014 at home with his family beside him at age 86.
Born in Manchester, England on December 8, 1928. Ken was the son of the late Annie and Alfred Billam. Dearly loved husband of Margaret. Predeceased by his first wife Kathleen and by his step son Will Pozy. Brother in law of Fred Sweet (Katherine Lippel) and David Sweet (Janice McKay). Uncle of Kealy and Kyle Sweet, Christine Bridges (Ron) and great uncle of Kristopher Balzar.
Ken’s smile and light will be missed by his nieces and nephews in Winnipeg, cousins in England and friends around the world.
A private family service was held. Friends are invited to share in a come and go Celebration of Life at the Sault Ste. Marie Golf and Country Club (1804 Queen Street E) on January 17, 2014 from 2 to 5pm. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery in the spring.
Please, in lieu of flowers memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society of SSM and Algoma District, F.J. Davey Home Foundation Adult Day Program or the VON Algoma Day Away program would be appreciated.
