In the Jr Women’s matchup Team Barclay had the hammer in the first and scored 3 but Team Burns came back to score a double in the 2nd end. Team Burns held Team Barclay to a single in the 3rd while scoring a deuce in the 4th to tie the game at 4 after the 4th end. A few mistakes by Team Barclay allowed Team Burns to steal 3 in the 5th end.

Burns and Barclay traded single points in the 6th, 7th and 8th ends but Burns sealed the win by scoring 3 in the 9th end and with the 10th end not played the final score was
10-6. Team Burns will now play Team M. Smith in the Jr Women’s Final.

On the Jr Men’s side of the house Team Horgan started with the hammer and had a chance to score 3 in the first end but drew short and only scored a double. Teams Acorn andHorgan each scored singles in next three ends and then the teams traded doubles in ends 5, 6 and 7.

Acorn would steal a single in the 9th end to put them 1 point behind and with another steal in the 10th Acorn would send the game into extra ends with Horgan still having thehammer but would come back to score a deuce in the extra end to give them the win. Team Horgran will now square off against unbeaten Team Warkentin for the Jr Men’s Final.
