Crime Stoppers and Sault Ste. Marie police service are seeking the public’s assistance identifying a male responsible for carjacking on new years eve.
ON January 1, 2015 sometime between 12:30 a.m. and 1:00 a.m. a lone male flagged down a passing motorist on wellington street east. the male forced his way into her vehicle and demanded a ride.
The suspect is described as being in his early 20’s and is about 6 feet tall and an estimated 180 pounds. the suspect had blonde hair and was wearing a long sleeve white shirt and jeans.
The suspect exited the vehicle on Maple Street and was last seen running north on wilcox avenue.
