A 19 year old male was arrested on January 6 for violating his court issued curfew. The accused was on a release document from a domestic related incident with a curfew from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. His surety called the police and reported that the male had missed his curfew. He was arrested and charged with one count of Breach of Recognizance. He will now be appearing in Bail Court.

On the 7 Jan15 at approximately 02:44 a.m. police observed a small four door vehicle  travelling southbound on Gore Street. The vehicle was travelling the wrong way on a one way street and eventually came to a stop at Albert Street. The driver was identified as Elijah KWISSIWA, age 20, of 31 Princeton Drive.  Police conducted a roadside screening device and KWISSIWA failed the roadside screening test. KWISSIWA gave three breath samples to police and was charged with having over the legal limit of alcohol in his blood.  He will appear in court on 09Feb15.

37 year old Christopher Perry of 772 Wellington St. E. was arrested and charged at Canadian Tire at approximately 1:40 p.m. today.  It is alleged that Perry attended at the Canadian Tire store at approximately 1:30 p.m. where he was observed selecting an LED Light and Laser pointer. Shortly after selecting this item he was observed opening the package, and concealing the item in his pocket. Perry will appear  in court on 09Feb15.
