On the 15th of January 2015 at approximately 7:15hrs officers from Patrol Services attended at downtown residence and located a 24yr old female wanted on an outstanding warrant from the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service for domestic related charges. It is alleged that on the 19th of November 2014 the accused attended the victim’s residence kicked open the door, struck the victim with a steel pipe, and then used the pipe to cause damage to a kitchen table, stove and floor. Further the accused threatened to kill the victim and stole a television. The accused is charged with Break and Enter and Commit, Robbery with Violence, Threatening Death and Mischief under $5,000. The accused will appear in Bail Court later this morning, the 16th of January 2015.
She Won’t Move
On the 16th of January 2015 at approximately 12:14am officers from Patrol Services attended a downtown residence with regards to a person to be removed. Further police investigation revealed that the female to be removed had consumed alcohol and was on an Undertaking with a condition not to consume alcohol. Charged with breaching her Undertaking issued by an Officer in Charge is 34yr old Courtney Lee-Ann MITCHELL of 102 Henrietta Street Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. She will appear in Court on the 23rd of February 2015.
Noise Complaint
On the 16th of January 2015 at approximately 1:15am officers from Patrol Services attended a downtown residence with regards to a noise complaint. Further police investigation revealed that the person police were dealing with was wanted on an outstanding warrant. Charged with Failing to Attend Court and Fail to Comply with her Probation Order is 29yr old Kelly Edna HODGSON of 130 Birch Street Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. She will appear in Bail Court later this morning, the 16th of January 2015.
