Disturbed With a Knife

City Police Patrol officers were called to a west end apartment building last evening regarding a disturbance. It was alleged that 38 year old Paul Victor Stiber of 336 Albert St. W. was arguing with tenants in the building.

During these arguments, the accused pulled out a knife and made threatening gestures with it. Upon further investigation, officers determined the knife in question was able to be opened with centrifugal force deeming it to be a prohibited weapon.

As a result Mr. Stiber was charged with possession of a weapon dangerous to the public and possession of a prohibited weapon. He will be appearing in Provincial Court February 23rd.
