A 36 year old female was arrested by City Police officers early yesterday evening as a result of a domestic related incident. It is alleged she and a male whom she had been in a previous relationship with, were at the victim’s residence when a verbal argument escalated to the point where the accused hit the male in the face with a coffee cup, punched and kicked him and threatened to kill him. As a result, the accused was charged with assault with a weapon and threatening and will be appearing in Bail Court later this morning.
Can’t Stay Away
A 24 year old male was arrested by City Police officers early this morning at a downtown residence after Police received a complaint of the male breaching conditions of a Recognizance which prohibited him to be within 100 metres of his ex-girlfriend. He was also on conditions to reside at a certain address which it is alleged he was not doing. As a result, he was charged with 2 counts of breaching a Recognizance and will be appearing in Bail Court later this morning.
