For the first time since dropping a 4-1 decision to the Indians back on December 3rd at the Essar Centre, the Soo Thunderbirds midgets travelled across the boarder tonight for a clash against the Soo Indians at the Big Bear Arena.
The Indians scored with just twenty nine seconds left to go in regulation giving them a 3-2 victory over the Soo Thunderbirds Midgets. Brad Thrower and Jonathan Dyer each tallied for the Soo while Joey Roberts was in goal for the loss.
Next action for the Soo will be on Friday, January 9th when they travel to Shattuck, Minnesota for the Shattuck St. Mary’s Tournament.
