Lots of Memories

The Alzheimer Society of Sault Ste. Marie and Algoma District held its annual Walk for Memories at White Pines on Sunday, January 25th. It was the seventeenth year and it proved to be the best yet.

Bea Fioramanti, Resource Development Coordinator told saultonline.com that 72% of all people struck with Alzheimers are women and 70% of all caregivers are women. All donations raised will support the programs and services offered in the local community.

The Walk was fun for all that attended with balloons, face painting, a clown, and refreshments.
