On January 14, 2015 police were called to Reggies Tavern on Queen St. in regards to a male victim that was assaulted and had his money and cigarettes stolen.
A description of the accused was given and the male accused was located on Bruce St. A search of the accused located the money and cigarettes as well as a small amount of marihuana. He was also on a probation order.
Charged with Robbery, Possession of Stolen Property, Possession of a Controlled Substance and Breach of Probation is 30 year old Courtney Richard Batisse of Kirkland Lake Ontario. He is being held for a bail hearing this morning.
